From a Simple Start to a Full Collection
What started in January 2015 with just 120 shirts has grown into a full line of menswear, including shorts, jackets, and accessories. Vollaix's women’s collection followed, with the first dress appearing in August 2017 and a full line released the following spring. Our goal is to blend classic style with modern elements in every piece we create.
Finding Our Name
When we set out to create our first line of polo shirts, we wanted a name that was unique but also reflected our brand. With countless names already trademarked, we had to get creative. Inspired by the "serve and volley" style of tennis, we started playing with the word "volley." By adding the French suffix "-aix," we created a name that was original and elegant. Vollaix is pronounced "vuh-lay," rhyming with "clay."
